I am Seslie Recker, a credentialed Montessori Infant-Toddler Guide and postpartum doula. Behind the scenes, I’ve been building a business plan: Simply Montessori: Postpartum Support with Seslie, which offers Montessori-based postpartum doula and parenting support for families from birth to age three. Rooted in Montessori philosophy and responsive care, my services are grounded in respect, rhythm, and real-life parenting. It’s important to me that this care is affirming, inclusive, and accessible. That’s why I’ll be providing these services at a low cost—or free—so that all families can access quality postpartum support.

Starting a small business comes with many financial costs. The money raised through this collaboration will go toward funding CPR trainings, continuing education, materials, and most importantly, enabling me to support families in my community at little to no cost. I believe every family deserves access to quality postpartum support.

Tif and I have been friends for over 10 years. She planned my baby shower, took my first child’s newborn photos, and was my maid of honor. Through all the seasons of my life, Tif has always been there for me. She is incredibly talented and creative—it felt only natural to ask if she’d be interested in this collaboration. So much love and intention has been poured into these pieces. We hope you love them!
